I grew up in California, but my early childhood years were spent with love and family on the island of Maui, where I currently reside, with my family.
I have always been a good reader, almost voracious in my younger years, and enjoyed books so much, that I made my best friend, Cindy, angry, because I wouldn't respond to her when I was reading a book. I wasn't trying to be mean. I just got really lost in those pages.
I have been an off-again and on-again writer for most of my life, and then, decided to seriously create a few years ago. I have published two books so far, and have won an award for my poetry writing in California. I am still very proud of that award.
